Under each roof, there always exists something quirky, obstructive, and uncanny in regards to how members within a family relate to and behave towards one another. The intimate vicinity of the video may be too intense to absorb and too awkward to undertake for certain viewers, but that is the point of this video – to invite outside observers to intrude into a privately organic space and time. The first intention of this video is to juxtapose, and then rearrange, distort, and deconstruct the fabric of the familial power structure. In the modern era, there seems to be a certain degree of decadence in the amount of respect and reverence that is traditionally paid to one’s parents. Teenagers often rebel against their parents and order them around to obtain their own ends and desires. To exemplify this phenomenon, it is clear that I had reversed the role of the typical patriarchal role of the father to his heir. A sock dropped on the floor and my husband had Twix retrieve the sock and bring it to him. Now Twix thinks it is a great game. He never chews up the clothes, but will take everything out of the laundry basket if I am not paying attention or if I am busy doing YT videos. hehe I personally just do every thing I can to prevent the behavior from happening and use a bit of management and redirecting him to come to me by using my kissy noise. If he has his favorite piece of clothing (my husbands undies), then I just ask him to drop, take the underwear and then give him a chew bone or a toy. Deacon and I made homemade laundry soap about a month ago together. I have been using it since and am in love. I have also had his 3 teachers and 2 of my friends try it.
